For those who cares to listen…
I just need somewhere to really let this out. Earlier yesterday, my aunt Chrisi passed away. She had been battling ovarian cancer for 3 and a half years, and finally it took its toll. After getting it once, she was treated, and totally fine. Then she got it again, and we treated it accordingly and she got better. But finally, about 2 months ago, it came back stronger than ever, and no matter what we did, it would not let up. So she decided herself to move off of the kemo, and to let the cancer spread. She was in no pain, and she was as happy as can be until the day she took her last breath yesterday. From the day she was born, to the day she died, she had a smile on her face. She was, is, and always will be one of the most amazing people that I have ever known. I really didn’t feel that bad about it, until today. Suddenly it just hit me that my aunt, one of my favorite people, and one of my best friends, won’t be around anymore. For now it’s not so bad, but I can tell that for the next little while, it’s gonna be really tough. So to everyone who sees this, just bare with me for a while. RIP aunt Chrisi, you are the best.
